Vaginal steaming? Yoni steaming? What? SIS, that sounds weird? What is it?

These may or may not be the questions you are asking yourself or these could be the type of questions your girlfriends ask when you tell them about how AH-mazing your vaginal steam was.

So lets dig deep.. ‘What the HECK is a vaginal steam?’

I want to make it very clear it does not involve some high blasting steam at your beautiful, precious Yoni. This ritual is a time of meditation, relaxation, and healing- all at the same time. This practice will involve 35 minutes of peace, where you place you gorgeous tush on our Yoni throne and bless your yoni with specific herbs to nourish your body. I may be referring to this beautiful process as a ‘vaginal steam’, but many refer to it as a Yoni steam as the yoni in Sanskrit is known as a “sacred temple” or pathway, a place to access our wisdom, and our power (and if that ain’t the truth).

This ritual is a time-honoured holistic remedy that allows you to align within- on an emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual level. This nourishing ritual supports, restores, and balances the vagina, vulva, womb, and entire pelvic region. LIKE DAMN. This empowering practice allows us (women) to fully drop into the realm of our inner sanctum, offering us exactly what we need - space and time to relax and release and come back to ourself.

The practice involves sitting over a pot of herbal infused steam to permeate the perineum, bringing warmth, stimulation, and a sense of deep unwind to this often very tense part of a woman’s body.

Steaming offers women a way to reconnect the body with the wisdom of subtle plant medicine to heal, clear the womb and sexual organs on a physical and energetic level, and prepare it for its intended use, as a vessel for creativity, sexual energy, and each individual’s unique spice of life.

It is

The most common herbs and petals used are Calendula, Lavender, Rosemary, Yarrow, Oregano, Motherwort, and Rose Petals.
